Bressingham Primary School

We had a wonderful day at the Time and Tide museum in Great Yarmouth. The children learnt about how things used to be during Victorian times and went back in time to meet a Victorian lady from 1860. They thoroughly enjoyed dressing up in hats and promenading. A highlight for many was also the Mods and Rockers where they were excited to dress up in the style of these groups, and competed in a dance-off! We used clay to make a souvenir using shells, and laughed at the jokes from the traditional Punch and Judy show. A fun and memorable day ! 

The children really enjoyed our Jubilee Day. We had a fantastic street party on the playground alongside many other fun activities.

  It was a lovely end to a busy week for Year 1 and 2 as we toasted marshmallows around the fire. In the morning, we learnt about The Gunpowder Plot and had fun with various creative activities focused around fireworks.  This is also one of our 100 Memorable Events... They tasted great !!
