Nativity on Tour

Image
Year 2, some or Year and Carol Singing Club have visited The Swan Nursery School and two residential homes in Diss, to sing Christmas songs and carols. The visit was thoroughly enjoyed by both the children and the people they visited... It was lovely to help to spread Christmas cheer to others in our local community.

Carol singing around Bressingham village

Image
Having enjoyed several lunchtimes singing carols, to practise, we were excited to be going out to do some real carol-singing around the village. Hot chocolate and biscuits helped to set us up, then having wrapped ourselves up, we headed out. We carried out a collection for Water Aid, the charity chosen by School Council for this year and raised an amazing £30 in about an hour! Thank you to all of our generous listeners in the village...

This evening, we enjoyed mince pies and hot chocolates, before setting off around the village, carol singing as we went. We collected for the charity chosen this year by the children, through School Council- Help the Homeless-  and raised nearly £37. It was lovely to be out in the community and everybody enjoyed being part of it... Happy Christmas, everyone...

School Council placed crosses by the memorial and a wreath was laid from the school.  Everybody was silent and respectful...
